Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Product Ownership
• Serve as the functional and technical SME for the cloud Pricing solution (vendor-agnostic).
• Translate Business requirements for pricing capabilities: segmentation, price waterfalls, list/net pricing, discount matrices, deal envelopes, approval workflows, price optimization insights, and analytics into User stories.
• Define and maintain solution roadmaps, configuration standards, and go-live readiness (UAT, training, runbooks).
• Integration to CPQ & Order Management
• Design, implement, and maintain robust integrations between Pricing ↔CPQ (vendor-agnostic) and Pricing ↔ Order Management (vendor-agnostic).
• Ensure real-time price retrieval for CPQ and Order Management solutions with proper error handling, idempotency, and auditability.
• Optimize latency, throughput, and resilience using best practices(caching, retries, circuit breakers, bulk sync for master data).
• Architecture & Compliance:
• Support the Architects for China-local deployments (e.g., Alibaba Cloud, Tencent Cloud) and/or China-edge patterns to meet performance and regulatory needs.
• Ensure compliance with PIPL, Cyber security Law (CSL), Data Security Law (DSL), cross-border data transfer assessments, and data classification requirements.
• Implement data residency strategies, encryption, masking, retention, and local logging/monitoring.
• Support with Integration of pricing and promotions with WeChat Official Accounts & Mini Programs, WeCom, Douyin, Baidu, Alibaba/TencentAds, and local marketing automation/CDP/CRM tools.
• Enable campaign-to-quote scenarios (promo codes, price overrides,eligibility rules) and online-to-offline workflows with trace ability.
• Collaborate on consent and preference management for compliant activation.
• Data & Governance
• Establish golden sources and synchronization for customers,materials/SKUs, customer hierarchies, price lists, and exchange rates.
• Define data quality KPIs, lineage, and reconciliation processes across Pricing, CPQ, OMS, ERP, and analytics.
• Partner with Security/Compliance to implement least privilege, key management, and access reviews.
• Operations & Continuous Improvement
• Drive incident/problem/change management, SLAs/SLOs, performance tuning, and cost optimization.
• Lead release cycles, regression testing, and non-production parity.

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

• We are seeking an IT SME to own the cloud-based Pricing platform and its end-to-end integrations with CPQ and Order Management.
• You will drive solution design, integration, data governance, and regulatory compliance (e.g., PIPL, CSL, DSL).
• The ideal candidate combines Pricing domain expertise (price lists, rules, quotes, approvals, deal guidance) with integration engineering (APIs, event streaming, middleware) and China-local MarTech (e.g., WeChat/WeCom, Alibaba/Tencent ecosystems,Douyin, Baidu).
• You’ll be partner with Business SMEs, Key users, IT and external vendors to deliver scalable, compliant, and high-performance pricing capabilities that improve margin, speed-to-quote, and order accuracy.
