As a Software Engineer - Oracle PL/SQL Specialist on our Corporate Functions team, you ensure processes run efficiently, you bring clarity, and dependable support to the heart of the company. Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Design, develop, and optimize complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers for mission-critical Oracle applications
• Architect robust, scalable, and secure Oracle database solutions and data models, ensuring data integrity and high performance across environments
• Perform advanced SQL/PLSQL tuning, including execution plan analysis and proactive performance optimization
• Build and maintain ETL/data integration pipelines using PL/SQL and Oracle tools to transform and move data across systems
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize requirements; produce technical specifications and manage version control for database objects
• Ensure quality and security by implementing unit/integration tests (e.g., utPLSQL), role-based access control, encryption, and automated deployment scripts
• Operate and maintain production databases: plan and execute releases with minimal downtime, monitor and troubleshoot performance, manage backups/recovery and capacity, and integrate PL/SQL solutions with C++, Perl, and Python applications
  
  

Your Profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

• A Bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL development with deep expertise in database programming
• Expert-level knowledge in SQL/PL-SQL, including advanced features such as: Collections, bulk operations, dynamic SQL, Advanced querying techniques, analytical functions, CTEs, hierarchical queries, Performance tuning and optimization, Exception handling and debugging
• Strong understanding of Oracle architecture, including tablespaces, partitioning, indexing strategies, and materialized views
• Proven track record of successfully planning, designing, and implementing complex database systems
• Experience with Oracle development tools (SQL Developer, TOAD, PL/SQL Developer), plus database version control (Git, SVN) and CI/CD for DB deployments
• Fluency in English
