Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and repair backend semiconductor test equipment through hands-on electrical and mechanical interaction
• Experiment Design: Develop and execute experiments to commission and validate equipment performance
• Technical Troubleshooting: Analyze and resolve complex technical failures using structured problem-solving techniques
• Process Improvement: Implement Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to optimize equipment performance
• Data Integration: Support the integration of SPC to collect and analyze manufacturing data
• CAD Documentation: Create CAD drawings, Preventative Maintenance documents, and other technical documentation
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, technicians, and cross-functional teams for continuous improvement
• Internship Duration: 6-month Co-op preferred, but open to 12-week summer internships
  
  

Your Profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

• Education: Actively Pursuing a BS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Material Science, ideally completing coursework within 1 year
• Problem Solving: Detail-oriented with the ability to use rational thinking to solve technical issues
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication at all organizational levels
• Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Technical Tools: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), AutoCAD or SolidWorks; familiarity with Minitab and Tableau desirable
• Organizational Skills: Capable of effectively managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
• Data Analysis: Ability to draw conclusions from gathered and structured data
• US citizen or green card holder: This position requires access to documentation that is controlled by the export laws of the United States. Candidates are required to provide proof of either US citizenship, Permanent US residency, or classification as a protected individual as defined in 8USC 1324b(a)(3).

Wage range that the company expects to pay for a qualified candidate:

Minimum of $19.00 per hour

Maximum of $32.00 per hour

Hourly rate will depend on the highest level of education completed.
