Wage range that the company expects to pay for a qualified candidate:
Minimum of $19.00 per hour
Maximum of $32.00 per hour
Hourly rate will depend on the highest level of education completed.
Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and repair backend semiconductor test equipment through hands-on electrical and mechanical interaction
- Experiment Design: Develop and execute experiments to commission and validate equipment performance
- Technical Troubleshooting: Analyze and resolve complex technical failures using structured problem-solving techniques
- Process Improvement: Implement Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to optimize equipment performance
- Data Integration: Support the integration of SPC to collect and analyze manufacturing data
- CAD Documentation: Create CAD drawings, Preventative Maintenance documents, and other technical documentation
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, technicians, and cross-functional teams for continuous improvement
- Internship Duration: 6-month Co-op preferred, but open to 12-week summer internships
Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed
- Education: Actively Pursuing a BS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Material Science, ideally completing coursework within 1 year
- Problem Solving: Detail-oriented with the ability to use rational thinking to solve technical issues
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication at all organizational levels
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Technical Tools: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), AutoCAD or SolidWorks; familiarity with Minitab and Tableau desirable
- Organizational Skills: Capable of effectively managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
- Data Analysis: Ability to draw conclusions from gathered and structured data
