Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
As an Industrial Engineering Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting operational and continuous improvement projects within a manufacturing environment. This internship is designed for students interested in learning how industrial engineering tools, data analysis, and process optimization contribute to improving efficiency and productivity.
You will collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams while developing practical skills in layout design, process analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Your Role

As an Industrial Engineering Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting operational and continuous improvement projects within a manufacturing environment. This internship is designed for students interested in learning how industrial engineering tools, data analysis, and process optimization contribute to improving efficiency and productivity.
You will collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams while developing practical skills in layout design, process analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Plant Layout Support: Learn to support the design and update of plant layouts using AutoCAD to improve workspace organization and operational efficiency
- Technical Drawings: Learn to create and modify production area layouts, workstations, and material flow diagrams
- Continuous Improvement Projects: Learn to participate in improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, waste reduction, and process optimization
- Time & Motion Studies: Learn to assist in time and motion studies to help analyze production processes and identify opportunities for improvement
- Data Analysis Support: Learn to collect and analyze production data to support operational decision making and improvement initiatives
- Process Documentation: Learn to document procedures, flow diagrams, and technical reports to support operational processes
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Learn to collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams in operational projects
Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed
- Education: Actively pursuing the final semesters of a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
- AutoCAD Knowledge: Basic to intermediate knowledge of AutoCAD with interest in developing layout and technical drawing skills
- MS Office Skills: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and interest in developing data analysis capabilities
- Continuous Improvement Mindset: Basic understanding or interest in Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies
- Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail when working with data and processes
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate ideas clearly while working with technical and operational teams, with basic to intermediate English proficiency
- $3,100 gross pesos per week
- $250 food voucher per week
- Direct hire (no agencies)
- Vacation days and Christmas bonus
- Cafeteria subsidy
- Part-time schedule: 5 hours/day, Monday to Friday (mornings)
