Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Regional Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute the regional marketing plan for Industrial & Edge AI MCUs, aligned with global product marketing strategy and regional sales objectives. Identify key market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs within Industrial IoT (IIoT), motor drive, and Edge-AI landscapes.
- Technical Enablement: Develop deep technical competency in our MCU products, particularly those featuring high-performance cores, AI accelerators (e.g., NPUs), advanced security, and analog and digital peripherals. Closely with product line to finetune and demonstrate solution value together with understanding of regional requirements. Train and equip the regional sales team and distributor FAEs with effective product collaterals and knowledge.
- Go-to-Market Leadership: Own the regional launch of new MCU products for Industrial & Edge AI-focused applications. Collaborate with local distribution partners to design and execute joint marketing programs.
- Ecosystem & Relationship Building: Forge strong relationships with key regional industrial OEMs, ODMs, and strategic design houses. Support marcom and digital marketing to engage with the edge AI developer community, universities, and relevant industry associations to strengthen our market presence.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track, measure, and report on the performance of all marketing activities using relevant KPIs (Opportunities, lead generation, market share data, etc.). Provide actionable insights to global marketing and regional sales management.
Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in semiconductor marketing, technical marketing, or a related field (e.g., applications engineering with a marketing focus).
- Proven track record in marketing MCUs, MPUs, or SoCs into Industrial Automation, Industrial IoT, or embedded AI applications is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of Industrial market segments (e.g., factory automation, building control, power/energy) and key trends like Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN), functional safety, and cyber-security.
- Working knowledge of Edge AI concepts, machine learning inference at the edge, and common AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow Lite, PyTorch Mobile).
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Mandarin.
- Strong ability to translate complex technical features into compelling customer benefits.
- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in marketing analytics.
- Self-starter with strong project management skills and the ability to work cross-functionally in a global matrix organization.
- Willingness to travel within the region and global (approximately25-30% of working days).
