Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

  • Shape, manage and develop a global team consisting of approx. 10 team members located in Europe, USA and Malaysia and continue to empower the team to be the quality voice in those regions
  • Be responsible for Quality Management of the whole product lifecycle for all products and technologies within a very dynamic product line.
  • Define and maintain quality targets (corporate targets) out of requirements from customer and market for existing and planned future technologies, packages, products and services
  • Ensure the fulfillment of time and cost according to agreed qualification plans and schedules
  • Develop strategy for product qualification that fit business needs and company quality brand
  • Participate in project board reviews and make decisions on project release reliability along the whole value chain (in house, production partner, material supplier)
  • Conduct risk assessments and have decision competence on risk releases under time constraints
  • Initiate and drive continuous improvement activities and programs
  • Act as an interface and build bridges across different functions i.e. R&D, Marketing, Project management, and Quality Management

Your Profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

  • Achieved a technical university degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science or a comparable degree
  • 10+ years of professional experience ideally within the semiconductor industry, power module industry and quality management
  • Leadership capabilities, +5 years of experience in leading global teams, taking full ownership and steering all parties towards common goals
  • Advanced knowledge of quality systems, methods, procedures and tools (e.g. risk management, QFD, FMEA, 8D, JEDEC, AEC-Q, IPC standards etc.) and customer related processes
  • In-depth knowledge of semiconductor technologies, development and production as well as of logistics processes
  • Basic Knowledge of audits, certifications, standards and process management
  • Experience in customer communication and stakeholder management
  • Flexibility regarding functional alignments across different continents
  • Project Management experience as a plus
  • Fluent in English skills – German or the willingness to learn it would be an additional plus

The Wage range that the company expects to pay for a qualified candidate in the United States is:

San Jose, CA Minimum of $199,800 salary per year / Maximum of $274,700 salary per year

Murrieta, CA Minimum & Andover, MA Minimum of $167,000 salary per year / Maximum of $ 230,500 salary per year

In addition, all employees will be eligible to participate in an incentive plan.
