Your Role

Your Role
We are looking for a results-driven and detail-oriented Accountant to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information for the assigned entities in the Asia Pacific region. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring compliance with accounting principles, internal controls, and statutory regulations, while driving financial analysis, reporting, and operational improvements.
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Monthly review of the financial information of the entities assigned, and provide insightful analysis and identify key drivers to the financial performance.
- Drive presentations to management on the financial position of the entities assigned.
- Manage and ensure compliance with Group and local statutory financial reporting requirements.
- Key person interfacing with internal business stakeholders and providing guidance on accounting guidelines and procedures.
- Collaborate with the Shared Services team to oversee the month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
- Proactively set up and enhance processes, implement internal controls, support efficiency initiatives, and leverage automation and technology tools for improvement
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis and projects for various business needs.
Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
- 1 to 3 years of accounting experience; familiar with IFRS accounting guidelines.
- Candidates with little experience but with a good academic foundation in accounting and a strong understanding of IFRS are also encouraged to apply.
- Analytical, meticulous with strong communication skills and strong team player with a collaborative mindset
- Able to work independently, have a positive attitude and willingness to take initiatives as well as ownership.
- Proficient in Excel, technology savvy and experience with data visualisation tools, such as Tableau, Knime or similar.
- SAP knowledge is an advantage.
