Key responsibilities in your new role
- Support and optimize peripheral processes in semiconductor manufacturing (e.g., AOI inspection, sorting, cleaning, and related processes)
- Set up, maintain, and improve AOI systems, including recipe creation, tuning, and validation
- Analyze inspection data to identify defects, trends, and root causes, and provide actionable insights
- Work on process characterization, data collection, and technical reporting to support product and process development
- Provide technical support for troubleshooting, process excursions, and yield improvement activities
- Collaborate with equipment, process, and product engineering teams to ensure alignment and process robustness
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency, quality, and cost effectiveness
- Support equipment buy-off, qualification, and acceptance testing for peripheral tools
Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or related industry
- Basic understanding or hands-on experience in AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) systems (e.g., recipe setup, defect classification, inspection logic)
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and their impact on product quality
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
- Experience in troubleshooting and process optimization is a plus
- Good teamwork, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic manufacturing environment
