As an intern in the Innovation Management Team within the Digital Manufacturing Solutions department, you will play a key role in driving cutting-edge innovation by supporting the development of AI-centric prototypes and proof-of-concept activities. You will collaborate with a global team of experts and users to test, adapt, and implement ideas, aiming to deliver Minimum Viable Products (MVPs). Your responsibilities will vary based on your skills and interests, ranging from data modeling and AI development to application building and integration. In addition to your technical work, you will join a cohort of interns from the company’s supply chain community, where you will have the chance to learn from peers, participate in networking events, and build lasting connections. This internship is designed to provide you with a well-rounded experience, combining technical growth with professional development.

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Support innovation managers in prototyping and proof-of-concept activities, focusing on AI-centric solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across various regions and sites to develop and refine ideas.
• Engage in tasks such as data modeling, AI/ML model development, application development, and integration, depending on your skills and preferences.
• Conduct testing and quality assurance to ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements.
• Document progress, challenges, and outcomes to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Participate in the intern cohort program, including learning sessions, networking events, and team-bonding activities.

• On track to attain Bachelor or Masters in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, etc.
• Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks and tools. - Basic understanding of data analysis, modeling, and visualization techniques.
• Interest in cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and DevOps tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
• Flexibility to adapt to new challenges and a willingness to learn.
