We are looking for a technology development engineer who will be driving innovations from concept definition to volume production. As a technology development expert, you will collaborate with inter disciplinary teams from technical marketing to production.

In your new job you will:

• Develop Si wafer technology and product features to realize new power devices that meet the performance, cost, and quality targets.
• Drive experiments from the process split definition to the realization in the clean room, analyze available in-line metrology and electrical test data.
• Ensure process stability, quality of the manufacturing route for the mass-production release.
• Actively contribute to the project team while reporting on development progress and risk mitigation actions to ensure project objectives are met.
• Support and be in a technical leading role for product port folio extension (internal/subcon)
• Interact with teams of different time zones incl. remote technology development tasks

As an open-minded team player in an international/multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary environment, you are able to communicate efficiently while proposing innovative and unconventional solutions and enjoy sharing knowledge with others. With your proactive, self-organized working style, you ensure that deliverables are completed in high quality and remain aware of the big picture even in complex situations. Your analytical skills and structured approach enable you to solve problems efficiently.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A university degree (Master, PhD) in Physics, Electronics, or comparable.
• Experience in the field of semiconductor device technology development (Clean room experience, Design of Experiments, statistical process control, process control monitor design/layout, wafer-level reliability test and electrical characterization, failure analysis techniques, basic understanding of TCAD simulations, IP generation)
• Readiness for international assignments (short/long term)
• Semiconductor physics & process integration knowledge
• The ability to communicate efficiently in English written and spoken.
