Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Develop, optimize and fine-tune motor (BLDC, PMSM) control algorithms for sensor and sensor-less configurations
- Design motor control and DC-DC conversion power electronics
- Develop, optimize and fine-tune DC-DC conversion applications like battery chargers, various switching power sources
- Work with PCB layout designers to ensure schematic, component placement and routing accuracy accordingly to the power circuit design best practices.
- Coordinate prototype preparation, engineering validation and design testing
- Contribute to innovative ideas for motor control performance improvement, system integration improvement, components and module re-use for the different features and overall cost reduction
Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed
- A university degree in Electrical Engineering, Electric Drive, Electric Mobility, Control Systems or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in the field, past work in developing microcontroller/DSP based systems for motor control application is preferred
- Familiarity with modern DC-DC conversion topologies
- Hands-on experience with lab debug equipment, such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers, protocol analyzers
- Schematic entry in CAD (Cadence Allegro, Altium, KiCad) would be plus
- Proficiency in C (need to develop/modify/debug code for microcontroller) and relevant development tools for microcontrollers /DSP (e.g. Keil, IAR, Code Composer Studio)
- Proficiency in English (B2 minimum)
