Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
As a Functional Safety Engineer, you will support the development and analysis of memory-based products for safety-critical systems. Through guidance and training, you will contribute to applying safety methods and standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of safe and reliable products.
- Assist senior engineers in defining and evaluating safety measures for products
- Support collection and organization of safety-related requirements for hardware and software
- Contribute to basic safety analyses, following clear instructions and training
- Document safety activities, including reports, checklists, test results, and reviews
- Collaborate with design, verification, and software teams to define and verify safety features
- Participate in safety and quality reviews and meetings, ensuring progress alignment
- Utilize standard tools for documentation, requirements tracking, and analysis (training provided)
Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed
We are looking for a motivated professional eager to learn and grow in the field of functional safety. Your collaborative mindset, attention to detail, and willingness to take on new challenges will be essential for success.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- At least 1 year of experience in ASIC Design, SoC Design or other relevant areas would be interesting
- Basic knowledge of digital or embedded systems, such as microcontrollers or system-on-chip (SoC)
- Strong motivation and willingness to learn functional safety (no prior safety experience required)
- Familiarity with hardware or software design, verification or testing, or project documentation is an advantage
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a proactive attitude, and the ability to work in a team, communicate clearly, and collaborate with cross-functional groups
- Advanced level of English, both written and spoken
