In this role you will be helping document complex, leading edge products using state of the art documentation tools and practices, interacting with engineering teams world-wide. Our focus is digitalization and automation, pro-actively developing agile documentation solutions that meet MC needs now and in the long-term.

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role :

• Provide SW and AI solutions to support all aspects of the technical documentation flow, extracting information from source databases, manipulating content to required standards, building reports, and preparing content to interact with AI solutions
• Be responsible for documentation deliverables that meet the required documentation standards and processes
• Pro-actively drive the workflow from information creation to external release at given milestones
• Contribute to the documentation content architecture to handle different product families, multiple product variants, and numerous document types
• Contribute solutions and ideas to improving the efficiency and accuracy of our documentation deliveries
• Ensure the quality and consistency of our documentation according to company and division guidelines
• Support and train engineers as necessary to work with the company CCMS and contribute to the documentation flows
  
  

Your Profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

• A degree in a related field such as computer science, technical communication, or electrical engineering
• Minimum 2+ years w ork experience as a technical writer is beneficial
• Good programming knowledge and/or AI/LLM related skills
• Python / XML (DITA XML strongly preferred) / Tableau / Jenkins / GitLab
• Good understanding of a Component Content Management System (CCMS) and the concept of modular documentation
• Fluency in English with good communication skills (German is helpful, but not essential)
• A willingness to continuously learn
