Your Role

You will ensure functional safety and cyber security according to ISO 26262 and ISO 21434 for our Microcontrollers.

Key responsibilities in your new role

  • Act as auditor or assessor in product audits or assessments for components which are developed in accordance to above mentioned standards
  • Advise and guide your colleagues with your expertise in developing safety and security concepts
  • Ensure together with you team that reviews of the management plans are in line with the standards and Infineon requirements
  • Confirm that the tailoring of the product development processes is compliant to the requirements
  • Guide projects to conformity with respect to the relevant standards and approve the final compliance
  • Create the safety/security case based on assessments, audits and inputs from safety and security engineering activities

Your Profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

  • A degree in Electronical Engineering, Physics or a similar field
  • At least 6 years of professional experience within the field of functional safety (ISO 26262) as well as first experience in cyber security (ISO 21434) and a strong interest in developing yourself further within this field
  • Profound experience in automotive applications, experience in the semiconductor industry and the R&D field (in particular Microcontrollers Development) would be a great asset
  • Very good moderation and negotiation skills as well as experience in addressing and driving topics within cross-functional teams
  • A systematic approach to analyze safety and security products as well as good understanding of confirmation methods, including audit and assessment
  • Fluent English language skills
