Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Execute the full RTL2GDS flow, including logical synthesis, to ensure the successful implementation of digital designs
• Perform physical layout synthesis, including floorplan creation, clock tree synthesis, standard cell placement and routing, power supply planning and routing, and special routing, to optimize the design for area, performance, and power consumption
• Conduct verification of created layouts, including design rule checks, equivalence checks, static timing analyses, power and voltage drop analyses, to ensure the design meets all requirements and specifications
• Optimize the design for area requirements, clock rate, and power consumption, to achieve the best possible performance and efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, verification, and implementation, to ensure the successful execution of the RTL2GDS flow
• Develop and maintain physical design flows and methodologies, including the creation of scripts, tools, and procedures, to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the design process
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and methodologies, including new tools, flows, and standards, to continuously improve the design process and ensure the company remains competitive
  
  

Your Profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, or a similar field
• At least 5+ years of working experience in Physical Design, handling complex SoCs with solid experience in Synthesis, Place & Route, and Timing Closure
• Experience in modern technologies (FINFET is an added plus)
• Good knowledge in Synopsys and Cadence Toolset in the RTL2GDS domain
• Solid programming skills and knowledge in scripting languages like Tcl, Perl or Python
• Having an innovative mindset and self-driving working style
• Fluent English language skills, with German being an added plus
