The key responsibilities for this position include (but are not limited to):
Providing product and application support for ZEISS ophthalmology products.
Delivering presentations, training sessions at client sites, and product demonstrations during conferences, workshops or at ZEISS demo facilities.
Assisting in finding the right solutions for customers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
Supporting the sales team, collaborating with marketing colleagues and working with our Field Service Engineers to provide solutions for clients in case of malfunctions or repairs.
Remaining up-to-date with the latest market trends and communicating these to other colleagues (Product Management, R&D) at ZEISS headquarters in Germany.

Required knowledge & experience
A bachelor's degree in Optometry, a technical or product-related field, or has equivalent experience.
A background in a clinical setting within ophthalmology, for example as an optometrist, technical ophthalmic assistant, or operating room assistant. Alternatively, experience in ophthalmology in a similar role within the medical device industry.
Some experience in delivering training and working in an operating room.
Can work independently, is creative, able to think process-wise, and can provide total solutions for our customers.
Can handle responsibilities and work under pressure when necessary. We expect you to be stress-resistant.
Speaks both Dutch and English to communicate effectively with clients.
Holds a valid driver’s license (B) as the role involves frequent travel to customer locations.
Preferably residing in the Central/Northern Netherlands region.
