Senior UI Designer f/m/d (Fixed-term contract for 12 months)

Set things in motion.

• Closely collaborate with stakeholders and product owners to create modern design solutions with user-centered ideation techniques
  
• Create wireframes, prototypes, mockups and other artifacts that describe how the interface looks and behaves
• Ensure a meaningful information architecture and guard the anatomical stability of our user flows across the whole integrated product
• Complement existing modules in our toolset and further develop an integrated pattern library together with your team colleagues and the central UX unit
• Find proper and intuitively fitting solutions for additional features - based on customer use cases - in the complexity of a powerful and much anticipated new software
• Support developers throughout the implementation process, provide feedback on the interface and ensure the quality of the interface and interactions
• Create and export animations that give users easy to follow feedback on their interactions with the interface
• Ensure consistent look, feel and usage behavior of the product
• What is a plus: You identify opportunities where emerging tools and technologies — such as AI — can add real value to your work. You know how to apply and validate their outputs, and you critically assess their limitations to ensure reliable results
• This role is based on Fixed-term contract for 12 months, possibility of extension to full time

Use your skills.

• At least 5+ years of professional experience in a leading UI/UX design & innovation agency, or in-house managing large scale projects
• Bachelor or master’s degree in Interaction Design, Graphic Design, New Media, HCI or an equivalent work experience
• A passion for great work, be eager to design flows and user experiences that are elegant yet simple
• Excellent customer experience intuition; demonstrated success in creating innovative and user-friendly software applications and customer-facing features
• You bring excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment
• Technical fluency: you possess the ability to understand and discuss technical concepts and you are able to read and understand CSS&HTML code
• Willingness to travel occasionally to Hamburg/Germany for alignment with local product teams and business stakeholders.
• Deep experience with design and production tools like Figma, Sketch, InVision, Abstract, After Effects or Framer to mock up animations, Illustrator and Photoshop
• Excellent knowledge of English. German is a plus
