AUTOSAR Software Engineer

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Development Engineer in Electrical Engineering to join our global power electronics development team. You will contribute to the design and evolution of traction charging systems and powertrain solutions, supporting projects across new development and serial support.
Set things in motion.
- Develop, configure, and integrate AUTOSAR Classic–based software for chargers, BMS, and inverter applications
- Configure and adapt AUTOSAR Basic Software (BSW), including the operating system, RTE, communication stack, and diagnostic stack
- Implement application‑related software components in C, considering real‑time constraints and functional safety requirements
- Implement communication and diagnostic functions, such as CAN, UDS, and fault handling
- Implement functional safety and security requirements in alignment with international standards
- Support software integration, testing, commissioning, and series production ramp‑up
- Collaborate closely with development teams at international sites
Use your skills.
- Several years of experience in AUTOSAR BSW development, ideally for powertrain control units and/or battery management systems (BMS)
- Very good proficiency in using Vector DaVinci Configurator (Classic AUTOSAR)
- Configuration, integration, and parameterization of BSW modules
- Understanding of dependencies between BSW, RTE, and application software
- Solid knowledge of Classic AUTOSAR architecture (MCAL, ECU Abstraction Layer, Service Layer, RTE)
- Experience with Embedded C in safety critical real time systems and working with microcontrollers (e.g., Infineon AURIX or NXP)
- Ability to analyze and resolve integration issues between BSW, RTE, and application software
- Experience in development within safety relevant environments according to applicable standards
- Ability to scale BSW concepts across multiple ECUs or platforms
- Completed university degree in computer science, technical computer science, electrical engineering, software engineering or comparable
- Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of German is a strong advantage but not mandatory
