Set things in motion.

• Closely collaborate with stakeholders and product owners to create modern design solutions with user-centered ideation techniques
• Parametric transfer of design concepts into CATIA V5
• STRAK/Class A surface modelling using Catia V5 (GSD2)
• Support of the design and development process with high-quality surface modelling
• Creation of complex free-form surfaces considering plastic injection molding and steel forming
• Ensuring manufacturability of surfaces
• Implementation of design requirements
• Integration within the product design team

Use your skills.

• Educational background in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, Transportation Design, or a related technical field.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in complex free-form surface modelling, with a strong emphasis on precision and surface quality.
• Professional background in Class A surface modelling (STRAK), ideally within the automotive or consumer goods industries.
• Excellent in CATIA V5, including the GSD2 license, as well as ICEM Sur.
• Alternatively, extensive experience with SolidWorks or Siemens NX is also acceptable.
• Skilled in implementing design intent, ensuring that surface quality meets both aesthetic and technical standards.
• Experienced in collaborating with design teams, with a keen ability to interpret and translate 2D sketches and 3D renderings into accurate surface models.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing requirements and familiarity with standard manufacturing processes relevant to surface modelling.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of German is advantage
