This position will be part of the KION Group - Mobile Automation Execution team! Tasks and Qualifications:

Core Responsibilities:

The Automation Commissioning Technical Writer is responsible for compiling and preparing installation and commissioning documentation to support project execution on customer sites:

• Collaboration with experts from different KION-internal groups to obtain relevant information

• Authoring (in English) of different modular & linear content to aid commissioning readiness for selected products & solutions

• Documentation of technical issues, solution development (wiki content), installation & commissioning instructions and respective engineering information

• Consolidation of a currently scattered information landscape for the streamlined provision of information via a KION-internal “knowledge library”

• Support function: Collaboration with department trainers for their preparation & execution of trainings

Qualifications:

• A degree in Engineering (or similar) background; Otherwise familiarity with several engineering disciplines (SW, Electrical, Mechanical)

• 3-5 years of related working experience/ background in technical writing or closely related discipline

• Must have technical (particularly mixed software and hardware solutions) affinity and overall subject matter

• Impeccable English skills orally and in writing

• Mandarin or other European language skills (preferred)

• HTML /Dita authoring or similar content and data management experience (preferred)
