Tasks and Qualifications:

Your Responsibilities:

• This includes the conception and architecture development of hardware and software solutions in close collaboration with HW and SW specialists for our systems

• Your task also involves gathering system requirements that reflect our customers' needs

• To maximize synergies in our solutions, you will drive the standardization of our system architecture and relevant interfaces

• These specifications form the basis for the work of our implementation and testing teams

• You will be the technical focal point and promote knowledge transfer between various technical areas

• In doing so, you will use functional modeling tools such as SysML modelers and employ MBSE methods (Model-Based Systems Engineering) to document our architectural approaches

What You Should Bring to Be Successful in This Position:

• You have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field and can demonstrate 2-5 years of experience as an engineer

• Furthermore, you already have 3-5 years of practical experience and are proficient in using Requirements Engineering tools such as DOORS, PTC RV&S, or Siemens Teamcenter, as well as Microsoft Office. Ideally, you have experience with MBSE tools for SysML modeling and experience in the field of automated material handling systems with a focus on Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs)

• Knowledge of WMS, WCS, or control level software is another plus

• In addition to your technical expertise, you possess strong communication skills and can present complex matters simply and systematically. Teamwork, organizational skills, and initiative come naturally to you to identify problems and proactively address solutions

• This position requires occasional travel, both nationally and internationally, up to 50%. Therefore, you have fluent language skills in English. Basic communication skills in German are highly appreciated
