Your Role:

As IT Project Manager in KION Group IT you will be part of the global IT Project Delivery community. You will be responsible to shape, initiate and lead challenging and innovative IT projects across the across KION Group. By taking the driver seat for our core initiatives you will have a direct impact on continued business success. By skillfully steering your project teams in close alignment with your business stakeholders, you ensure in-time, in-cost and in-quality project results.

Being part of our powerful Business Partnering & Projects Function you will also have a meaningful impact in continuously developing our IT Project Framework (methodology) as well as in shaping the future performance of KION Group IT.

Your Responsibility:

  • Shape, initiate and lead assigned IT projects in the area of Applications & Infrastructure (with flexibility to manage IT projects in areas like supply chain/logistic, production/assembly, sales/aftersales, corporate functions, etc.).

  • Lead your project team incl. engaged partners/suppliers towards project success in terms of time, cost, quality and compliance.

  • Ensure smooth project execution and handover to service by adherence to the global KION project delivery methodology and applying your PMP/PRINCE2/Agile expertise in real live.

  • Apply a result-/product driven project approach by leveraging the proven project management standards of risk, issue, decision management and ensuring early and regular communication with the project stakeholders.

  • Contribute to sustain the KION Group IT as trusted advisor for the operating units of the KION Group by taking ownership and reliable delivery.

  • Actively contribute to the continuous development of the KION IT Project Framework (methodology) as well as the IT Services and Processes.

  • Be an engaged member of the global IT Business Partnering & Projects community.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Technology Stack you will work with:

  • Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, etc.)

  • Microsoft Project

Your Skills and Expertise:

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience as IT Project Manager in application and/or infrastructure area

  • Proven track record of delivering IT projects in international context

  • Background and practical experience across all types of project methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid)

  • Project Management certificate (PMI/PRINCE2/AGILE or similar) as a plus

  • Outstanding communication, empathy, and team leadership skills

  • First experience in cooperating with Product Owners, Technical Product Owners and Scrum Masters

  • Fluent English, written and spoken (German or French would be an advantage)

  • Openness to travel internationally (depending on project assignment)
