This position will be part of the Solution Development North America Group - Mobile Automation team! Dematic is a world-leading, fast-growing, innovative frontrunner in the development of mobile robotics, robotic fleet controllers and cloud-based fleet logistics management systems. Dematic has a focus on Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) systems. AGVs are fully autonomous robots that move and transport items in production, warehouse, and distribution centers without manual intervention or permanent conveying systems.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $75,000$ - 165,000$ at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

What You Will Do In This Role:

  • Responsible for a portfolio of business, functional manager, or manager of vertical market.

  • Typically leads a team of up to 10 employees

  • Assigns and plans resources for Solution Requests

  • Monitors and balances workload of assigned team

  • Participates in planning, requesting, and justifying staffing changes

  • Participate in customer meetings as needed

  • Supports execution of annual business plan

  • Supports achievement of Quarterly OKR's for group

  • Maintains a tight reporting cadence for project performance

  • Operates using agile methods

  • Continually coaches team through group and 1:1 sessions

  • Drives LEAN problem solving efforts for project, team, and process performance

  • Operates using iterative value creation methods

  • Displays accountability for group deliverables

  • Creates transparency on status and capacity

  • Develops current and future leaders

  • Supports the Solution Development Sr. manager as required

  • Provides support and prioritization for must win projects

  • Ensures high quality deliverables

  • Ensures capability and capacity are aligned with business need

  • Ensures transparency in Solution Development process for each opportunity

  • Continuous growth of staff in talent and capabilities

  • Reports status regularly to the Solution Development Sr. manager as required

  • This position manages Solution Engineers on the assigned program and is responsible for all managerial aspect of direct reports.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Advanced Degree is required. Emphasis in Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)

  • 5+ years industry experience

  • 3+ years manager / supervisor experience

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and working knowledge

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills are required

  • SAP or similar ERP experience is preferred

  • PMP – Desirable
