WHAT IS SO AMAZING ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

If your passion is to work on industry-leading projects at significant client sites then this Systems Engineer position is for you. Based in Melbourne, we have a terrific opportunity for a Systems Integration Engineer specialising in automated warehouse systems.

Collaborating with a dynamic team of engineering experts, you will be overseeing the technical baseline of innovative material handling solutions. You’ll apply established Systems Engineering methodologies to ensure successful integration across various engineering disciplines and the customer’s operational requirements.

WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON

  • Execution of Systems Engineering’s Processes and Procedures ensuring successful project outcomes

  • Technical document writing including system and subsystem specifications to manage technical baseline of all systems

  • Onsite test execution during commissioning phases of highly automated material handling equipment by coordinating multi-discipline resources

  • Ensure customer satisfaction through the provision of quality service, via a professional manner and in-depth understanding of technical requirements

  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with all project stakeholders including customers, project management and engineering

  • Proactively promoting group standards, innovation, risk identification and safety management

Tasks and Qualifications:

SETTING YOU UP FOR SUCCESS

  • Qualifications in Systems/Computer/Electrical Engineering or related disciplines

  • 2 years’ experience in commissioning Material Handling, WMS / WCS, order fulfilment and warehouse automation in an engineering discipline

  • Knowledge of best practice in Systems Engineering and multi-disciplined project management

  • Reporting and analytics experience will be an advantage

  • Experience in design and delivery of complex material handling systems

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Willingness to travel to local and international project sites
