Dematic is seeking a R&D Mechanical Product Engineer to design and develop parts and sub-systems for complex machinery. This role involves overseeing the full design process, testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience, strong CAD skills, and excellent communication abilities in English.

Tasks and Qualifications:

The activity include:

• Completes simple and complex designs of parts and sub-system of complex machines. This includes design of machined, extruded, sheet metal and plastic parts.

• Completes the design process from development, component test, sub-system integration, prototype machine builds and test, validation, and support of product release

• Prototype machine assembly may require lifting of up to fifty pounds and standing for up to eight hours per day.

• Support to operations, sales, applications, manufacturing first build, and installation

• Creates and understands testing requirements, assists in determining the best method of testing, may assist in testing, understanding testing results as related to the product performance

• Assists in on-site product validation, ensuring products perform to the intended manner

• Must be able to work in a team atmosphere both internal and external departments. This will include design reviews, team collaboration on designs and problems, and other project work.

Requirement:

• Minimum of 3-5 years experience in Mechanical engineering.

• Working Knowledge of commercial CAD software, such as NX, SolidWorks, Creo

• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.

• Ability to communicate at all levels.

• Good level in English language is mandatory, (spoken and written). Further foreign languages are an advantage.
