A dynamic and strategic HR Business Partner (HRBP). The HRBP plays a critical role in aligning our HR initiatives and functions with business objectives and needs. This role requires a deep understanding of the matrix organizational structure, where collaboration across different departments and regions is essential.

We offer:

1. Strategic HR Partnership:

o Act as a trusted advisor to senior management on all HR-related matters.

o Develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals and drive organisational performance.

o Partner with local business leaders to identify and address workforce challenges and opportunities.

o Act as the main point of contact between the Workers’ Council and the organisation, ensuring clear communication and alignment on key initiatives. Support the Country Leader in addressing council-related matters and fostering a collaborative working relationship.

2. Employee Relations:

o Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.

o Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues.

o Conduct thorough and objective investigations when necessary.

3. Supporting the Global OCTR Process Locally:

o Facilitate the implementation of the Global OCTR (Organisational Capability and Talent Review) process at the local level.

o Ensure alignment with global talent management strategies and objectives.

o Provide guidance and support to managers and employees throughout the OCTR process.

4. Organisational Development:

o Drive organisational change initiatives and support business transformation efforts.

o Facilitate team-building activities and workshops to enhance team cohesion and performance.

o Implement and monitor employee engagement initiatives.

5. Compliance and Risk Management:

o Conduct all mandatory labor negotiations and manage matters related to labor relations.

o Ensure compliance with Belgian labour laws and regulations.

o Manage HR policies and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure consistency.

o Stay updated on HR best practices and legal requirements.

6. HR Metrics and Reporting:

o Analyse HR data and metrics to inform decision-making. Prepare and present HR reports to senior management.

o Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.

7. Management

o Dotted line management for local HR team providing guidance on daily responsibilities, professional development, and performance objectives.

o Foster a supportive environment that encourages team collaboration, professional growth, and high performance.

o Facilitate seamless coordination on all local HR matters, proactively addressing issues to maintain smooth and compliant HR processes.

  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in HRIS and other HR software, with the ability to analyze HR data and metrics.
  • Knowledge of Labor Laws: In-depth understanding of Benelux labor laws and regulations.
  • Confidentiality: High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
