You will join the Controls department in our Singapore office and be involved in project execution for the country’s largest supermarket/grocery chain. Mentoring and on-the-job guidance will be provided.

As a Controls Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience in the Material Handling Industry. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job training and mentoring and be attached to the Controls Engineering department in our Singapore office.

Tasks and Qualifications:

What you will do in this role:

  • Updating of electrical schematic diagrams using EPlan

  • Verification of electrical installations on-site, if needed

  • PLC programme configuration and programming

  • Technical documentation for controls design

  • Providing support to the Controls Engineering team

What we are looking for:

  • Pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic Engineering

  • Basic electrical/electronics knowledge

  • Knowledge of EPlan is a plus

  • PLC knowledge is advantageous

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills

  • 6 months commitment from July to December
