Reporting directly to the Quality Senior Director ITS EMEA, the Plant Quality Manager will be responsible for leading and develop the local quality team containing Supplier Quality, Operations Quality, Customer Quality and Quality Management System.

Tasks and Qualifications:
Key Responsibilities:
Leading and develop the local quality team containing Supplier Quality, Operations Quality, Customer Quality and Quality Management System.
Ensuring the quality of the factory products regarding market requirements as well as legal requirements, in particular CE conformity
Further development and, if necessary, introduction of standardized processes at production level and implementation of the KION Quality guidelines
Implementation of best-practice standards and future quality assurance measures regarding internal production processes, auditing of line processes as well as product and component auditing, quality gate planning and employee training, shop floor support and implementation and execution of operational supplier management
Evaluate the external quality of the plant (products) at customers, organize and lead measures for its consistent improvement (Customer Quality)

Acting as the CTO Onsite representative
clearly defined contact person for main local stakeholders like local management and local internal interface partners
Participation in local management meetings and initiatives
Quality representation in local decision, Steering Committees and work groups
Supports external audits of plant (ISO 9001, environmental audits, etc.)
Provides/ coordinates/ initiates solution within CTO Organization along the established CTO processes and responsibilities, e.g. quality issues/ supply issues
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Successful completion of a degree in engineering science
At least 15 years of experience regarding production processes and their quality requirements
At least 10 years of experience in the automotive industry or at a sub supplier
Preferably international working experience in different countries
Leadership experience, preferably in a multi department Quality organizations
Experience regarding shop floor quality requirements
Strong knowledge in quality methods (PPAP, FMEA, APQP, 8D, Control plan, root cause analysis)
Preferably knowledge of process design, Six Sigma and Lean
Strong communication skills, assertiveness, great negotiation skills
Proven development of team members and execution of skill development systems
Software skills in the common software packages of Microsoft Office, SAP, PowerBI are mandatory
Fluent in Italian and English
Willingness to travel
