Position Summary

The Omni Growth Intelligence team’s mission is to drive the continuous identification and development of omnichannel solutions, providing KHC with a robust, sustainable, and data-driven growth engine. The newly formed OGI hybrid pod’s ambition is to enable growth and competitive advantage by building an ecosystem of sustainable, self-serve, automated, scalable data tools for the organization. The Product Owner role is a key enabler for OGI digital products for our cross-functional stakeholders and leaders. The PO will collaborate with leaders across KHC Business Units, Sales, and Operations to create technical solutions that address the hard challenges, pain points and analytical gaps of the evolving omni-landscape. The ability to work effectively in an agile mindset with emphasis on clear ability to translate business use cases to technical requirements are fundamental to delivering against our pod goals.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Leads the OGI hybrid pod to deliver business value and impact by setting a clear digital product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities.
    • Data-driven Decision Making
      • Ability to make data-driven decisions to optimize the omni-channel strategy.
      • Ability to create technical roadmaps and requirements to ensure dependencies across D.E, D.S, BIE’s, BA’s, and business stakeholders.
      • Ability to make technical tradeoffs based on data, business, and resource needs of the problem at large.
      • Develop KPI’s around actionable and quantifiable goals that drive business strategy and value.
    • Communication
      • Ability to articulate the vision and goals of the omni-channel strategy to ensure alignment of all stakeholders.
      • Ability to effectively assess technical requirements to drive intentional product roadmaps along with project milestones and report outs.
      • Lead communication between external vendors and data providers to build technical automation, influence development plans, test new data strategies, and create net-new process efficiency
  • Adaptability/Agility (The digital landscape is constantly evolving, and trends in customer behavior can change rapidly.)
    • Adaptable and open to adjusting strategies based on new information and market dynamics.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills are necessary to oversee the end-to-end development and implementation of omni-channel initiatives. This includes setting timelines, managing resources, and ensuring that the project stays on track.
    • Plans and prioritizes the product development and product feature backlog
    • Participates in and leads agile ceremonies (e.g., daily scrum, retrospective, backlog refinement, sprint planning and sprint reviews)
    • Develops detailed product feature specifications and requirements (technical and functional) and ensures they are clearly understood by the relevant teams
    • Mitigates roadblocks to achieving sprint goals
    • Leads the product release plans, product trainings to set clear expectations for delivery of new functionalities and improvements
    • Monitors product performance and usage.
    • Assesses sprint progress and key agile metrics
    • Serves as the ambassador, change champion, and educator for OGI digital products internally and externally, partnering to assess opportunities, share knowledge and answer business questions

Qualifications

  • Deep knowledge or previous experience developing or managing analytical solutions to drive omni-channel growth.
  • Proficient in managing product life cycles from inception of problem to hypercare of technical solution (ie. development of an software application, development of tool using analytical software).
  • Technical experience in Azure, Snowflake preferred.
  • Strong experience and knowledge of agile methodology and Jira for project management
  • Ability develop & communicate business value related to product features and functions
  • Experience working with technical teams including data engineers and developers
  • Experience automating & navigating multiple disparate large-scale enterprise data sets to create digital tools & solutions
  • Outstanding communication, partnership, collaboration, and presentation skills
  • Team oriented, motivated leader; Excitement around creating a culture in which people want to contribute/do their best
  • Sharp analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to effectively manage conflict and conflicting needs of stakeholders
