Job Description

Key Activities:

Design and develop new food products from concept to commercialization.

Lead research efforts to identify new product opportunities and improve existing products.

Conduct trials to optimize formulations and processes, from bench to industrial scale up.

Contribute to the definition of the shelf-life studies and consumers’ tests.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, production, quality assurance regulatory and operations, to ensure successful product launches.

Evaluate and select new raw materials/suppliers, establishing and maintaining relationships with them to ensure the availability of high-quality materials for product development.

Maintain accurate records of research activities, experimental data, and project timelines. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings, progress, and recommendations to stakeholders.

Competencies (experiences/ Education):

- Food Engineer, Chemical Engineering or similar (bachelor´s degree completed)

- Minimum 3 years experience in product and process management

Skills (Knowledge/ Capabilities):

- Advanced English (written and spoken)

- Availabity to travel

*Technical Expertise:

Strong background in food science, food engineering, or a related field. Proficiency in food formulation, processing technologies, and product development methodologies.

*Analytical Skills:

Ability to analyze complex data, interpret results, and draw actionable insights. Strong problem-solving skills to address technical challenges and optimize product formulations.

*Project Management:

Excellent project management skills to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver projects on schedule. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.


Effective communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with teams across the organization. Ability to build strong relationships and influence decision-making.

*Attention to Detail:

Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in experimental procedures, data collection, and documentation. Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and precision.


Flexibility to adapt to evolving business needs, market dynamics, and technological advancements. Willingness to embrace change and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

*Regulatory Compliance:

Knowledge of food safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices. Understanding of regulatory requirements for product labeling, claims, and marketing.
