Staff Data Engineer at a glance

The Kraft Heinz Information Technology organization is hiring a Staff Data Engineer who will be responsible for leading a multidisciplinary agile team to build high quality data pipelines driving analytic solutions. These solutions will generate insights from our connected data, enabling Kraft Heinz to advance data-driven decision-making capabilities across the enterprise. You will have a deep understanding of data architecture, data engineering, data analysis, and reporting -- and a basic understanding of data science techniques and workflows, as well as the business processes supported by the data pipelines.

What's on the menu?

• Develop and operate modern data architecture approaches to meet key business objectives and provide end-to-end data solutions
• Contribute to building generic frameworks for data ingestion, data processing, and data integrations
• Implements standard methodologies for software design, architecture, and implementation
• Implements monitoring tools/processes to ensure platform stability and operational SLAs
• Extends DevOps capabilities for deploying data solutions
• Acts as a data owner and functional data SME for the assigned area

• I have experience in role delivering and supporting software and data engineering capabilities.
• I have strong design and software programming development (preferably Python)
• I have strong experience with cloud services within Azure, AWS, or GCP platforms
• I have experience with analytical tools (preferably SQL, dbt, Snowflake)
• I have hands-on experience with DevOps and CI/CD processes
• I am a self-starter, driven with high business process competence
• I have strong communication skills with comfort in speaking with business partners
