About the role:

We are seeking a hands-on engineer to drive integration of our strategic platforms in support the creation of an end-to-end optimization model. You will drive the creation of the model that will power the identification of upcoming skills gaps in our workforce and recommend opportunities to upskills, hire, or engage workers to fulfil our clients’ needs.

Required Skills and Experience

Technical Expertise:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience with Strong background in machine learning, NLP, statistical modelling, and optimization techniques, with proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar, familiarity with graph querying languages.

• Good Hands-on experience in graph databases

• Experience with semantic models and ontology management

• Experience with ETL processes for data integration and transformation

• Familiarity with TensorFlow and other machine learning frameworks; experience with Hadoop, Spark or others

• Excellent project management skills with a track record of delivering complex projects on time.

• Problem-solving and communication skills that will allow clear definition of business requirements in a complex and dynamic environment.

• Expertise in networking, orchestration / automation, scripting

• Experience with instrumenting metrics, alerting, logging of production systems

• Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate closely with the architects and engineers within other functions

• Work with business translators and data scientists to understand knowledge graph requirements

• Enthusiasm to engage with a truly delightful group of humans spanning multiple backgrounds, areas of expertise and geographies to reach alignment

• Bachelor's / master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science or a related field.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience working as a Data Engineer

• Experience with Azure cloud

• Experience with Workday and/or SAP preferred

• familiar with workforce management software and tools and knowledge of labor laws and regulations.

• Experience in Data Modelling, to create conceptual model of how data is connected and how it will be used in business processes

• Professional certification, e.g., Open Certified Technical Specialist with Data Engineering Specialization

• Understanding of social coding and Integrated Development Environments, e.g., GitHub and Visual Studio
