We aim to augment the CIOs capabilities to deliver Business Value in a consistent and transparent way. In other words, our role is to provide CIOs with a “right hand” to drive Strategy, Governance, IT Operating Model and IT Performance Management while monitoring Transformation & New ways of working, Portfolio management, Core IT processes digitalization, IT Marketing, Workforce planning…

We operate as One Team in a very consistent and effective collaboration mode, engaging with the worldwide community of 2,000 Tech people.

Today, we’re looking for a Product Owner of the Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) Product to join our growing CIO Office & Transformation team, a team of more than 70 talented people across the world committed to the right execution of the Beauty Tech Strategy.

What a day in the life of the CIO Office & Transformation team looks like:

L’Oréal has launched an IT Transformation Program to support the Beauty Tech ambition.

As part of it, one stream is dedicated to standardize & harmonize the Core IT processes across the Group.

Most of these processes are digitized into the ServiceNow platform, the biggest L’Oréal platform, used by more than 10,000 daily Business & IT users.

Strategic Portfolio Management (previously ITBM – IT Business Management) is one of the 4 products of the ServiceNow Platform, beside IT Service Management (ITSM), Application Portfolio Management (APM) and Risk, Compliance and Security Operation (RCSO)

SPM key objective is to standardize, harmonize and digitize all the Plan & Build processes from the idea to Solution delivery. It includes IDEA management, DEMAND management, Project, Program & Portfolio Management, DEFECT management, RESOURCE Management, AGILE & PRODUCT management, RELEASE management.

As the SPM Product Owner, you will be in charge for the standardization, digitalization and the adoption of the SPM product.

You will be the global referent for any topics related to SPM product, including:

SPM strategy and roadmap:

  • Set a clear SPM Product long term vision aligned with Beauty Tech ambitions
  • Define & update Product Roadmap with EPICS & Features to be delivered

SPM delivery and feedback loop:

  • Standardize & harmonize processes in alignment with relevant stakeholders
  • Identify opportunity for simplification/improvements of processes and tools by using the feedback loop
  • Digitize processes & assets in collaboration with ServiceNow Center of Excellence (CoE): design target solution, testing, support implementation
  • Deliver and improve PowerBI dashboards to provide analytics to both Business and IT users
  • Animate a community of Champions spread across all our IT Organizations

SPM adoption:

  • Provide trainings & materials to support change across all organizations & Foster user onboarding

Use metrics to monitor adoption and Report progress to IT Worldwide Management Committee

You’ll stand out if:

  • You have a previous experience as a Product Owner of at least 5 years or worked in an agile environment. You are comfortable with working closely with cross-functional teams in a product mindset
  • You are proficient with ServiceNow and PowerBI as they are our core solutions
  • You demonstrate an ability to collect, synthesize and challenge business needs leveraging Design thinking and data driven approach (Users insights analysis…)
  • You master process design, process documentation and technical specifications
  • You demonstrate ability to define a mid-term roadmap (6-12 months) while redefining priorities
  • You know how to create, operate and customize a change management strategy adapted for strategic and operational stakeholders

You have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate in English (we work in an international context) to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
