What You Will Learn
The role of Manager, D2C Site Experience is to lead Kérastase & Shu Uemura’s digital product roadmap and user experience (UX) strategy for its D2C eCommerce channel. The Manager owns the on-site consumer journey, creating a best-in-class experience from initial engagement to final purchase. This involves identifying and removing any friction points throughout the consumer journey funnel, ultimately maximizing conversions.

- UX Strategy & Optimization: Develop and champion the brand's UX strategy, leveraging data-driven insights, competitive analysis, and iterative testing. Constantly seek innovative ways to improve the consumer journey.
- Product Detail Pages: Oversee the development and asset management process for product detail pages on the brand's website.
- Performance Analysis & Reporting: Monitor key website KPIs, industry benchmarks, and customer expectations. Analyze customer journeys to maximize the effectiveness and ROI of site features and initiatives.
- Technical Collaboration: Collaborate with developers to implement necessary technical enhancements and address site-wide issues impacting user experience.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors.
- A/B Testing & Optimization: Partner with the L'Oreal USA Testing & Optimization team to conduct user and A/B testing, optimizing the site based on data-driven insights and eCommerce trends.
- SEO & GEO Enhancement: Integrate SEO & GEO best practices within the site framework to drive organic traffic and conversions.
- Team Management: Manage and mentor a Site Merchandising Manager who is responsible for hands-on keyboard support and execution of site merchandising tasks with LUSA IT/site merch agency
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 7+ years of experience in product management and eCommerce, preferably with a background in technology or a related field.
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively, prioritize initiatives, and anticipate business needs.
- Strong product management skills with a demonstrated ability to overcome obstacles and deliver results iteratively.
- Experience optimizing user site experience through product management principles.
- Strong leadership, entrepreneurial spirit, and ability to build effective partnerships across all levels. Proven ability to manage and develop direct reports.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Passion for user-centric design, commitment to research, and competitive analysis.
- Proficiency in A/B testing and conversion rate optimization.
- Strategic thinking, innovation, and sound business judgment.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize, manage multiple responsibilities, and demonstrate strong attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and strategic thinker.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- Experience with user experience, platform usability, and service offerings is a plus.
- Experience with Google Analytics and Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) preferred.
- Technical proficiency in content management systems, including merchandising a plus.
