The Manager, Commercial Finance, is responsible for providing financial controlling expertise and partnership to the Sales team. Serving as a key value creation officer for the Luxury Fragrance Brands portfolio, this role acts as a financial co-pilot to the Sales leadership. You will be responsible for P&L management (gross to net sales) and balance sheet oversight, including budgets, trends, and actuals reporting across various financial systems (Compass, SAP, LEAP).

The Manager, Commercial Finance, is responsible for providing financial controlling expertise and partnership to the Sales team. Serving as a key value creation officer for the Luxury Fragrance Brands portfolio, this role acts as a financial co-pilot to the Sales leadership. Here’s how you will have a role to play in this team:
- Strategic Partnership: Partner closely with Sales leadership and cross-functional teams (Brand, CMO, CGO, Corporate Finance) to provide financial guidance and support data-driven decision-making.
- Budget Management: Lead the development and implementation of the annual budget, incorporating rigorous sell-out and sell-in risk and opportunity analyses.
- Financial Modeling: Develop multi-year financial models to assess the impact of business decisions, and promotional activities.
- P&L Optimization: Drive profitability through deep analysis of P&L levers and ROI assessments of commercial activities.
- Valorization Analysis: Partner cross functionally to develop a commercial funding strategy to support profitable product mix
- Reporting & Compliance: Oversee monthly financial closes to ensure accurate and timely reporting and ensure adherence to internal norms and financial reporting standards.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required.
- Experience: 5 – 7 years of experience in finance or accounting, with prior experience in a manager or project leadership capacity.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in the Consumer Products industry is highly preferred.
- Technical Expertise: Expert-level experience with Excel and Word; proficiency in SAP, Hyperion, or similar financial reporting systems is highly desirable.
- Mindset: A strong internal control mindset combined with curiosity, proactivity, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
