Your Mission: Architect and lead the strategic framework, technical vision, and governance for all lower funnel media activities, with a primary focus on Retail Media. As a senior technical authority, you will report directly to the Country Media Director, ensuring L’Oréal’s investment is at the forefront of transactional media innovation and data-driven performance.

- Full-Commerce Strategy & Technical Governance:
- Define and spearhead the technical roadmap for lower funnel, transactional, and e-commerce media across Retailer Search (Amazon Advertising, Criteo, CitrusAd), Social Commerce, Affiliates, and Conversion-Oriented Programmatic.
- Establish advanced measurement and attribution protocols to ensure ROAS/iROAS efficiency across all transactional touchpoints.
- Amazon & AMC (Amazon Marketing Cloud) Technical Lead:
- Act as the market’s subject matter expert (SME) for Amazon Advertising.
- Lead the governance of Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC), defining SQL-based query roadmaps, 1P data integration strategies, and the activation of advanced insights to drive high-value audience targeting.
- Divisional Advisory & Eventing Framework:
- Provide technical consultancy to Divisional leads to accelerate their performance priorities.
- Develop and refine a multi-divisional "Mega-Event" framework (Black Friday, Prime Day, etc.) focused on real-time bidding optimization, inventory management, and cross-brand synergy.
- Technical Partnerships & Tech Stack Optimization:
- Spearhead the technical workstreams of Joint Business Partnerships (JBP) with major partners (Amazon, Google, Meta).
- Maximize the exploitation of Google Marketing Platform (SA360, GA4) and retailer-specific technology to enhance audience segmentation and precision targeting.
- Performance Transformation & Advanced Upskilling:
- Orchestrate Performance Media upskilling initiatives and "tribe animation," elevating the technical literacy of the broader digital community, brands, and agencies.
- Execution Excellence: Optimization of ROAS and reduction of friction in the conversion funnel.
- Data Maturity: Successful deployment of 2P Retailer Data and AMC signal activation.
- Advanced Reporting: Implementation of automated performance dashboards and API integrations.
- JBP Technical Milestones: Delivery of innovation pilots and technical betas agreed upon with partners.
Experience & Seniority:
- 5 to 8 years of solid experience in Performance Media or E-commerce Media roles within top-tier agencies or leading advertisers (FMCG/Tech background preferred).
- Proven track record of managing large-scale budgets and leading complex digital transformation projects.
- Platform Mastery: Expert-level knowledge of Amazon Advertising (Console & DSP) and AMC.
- Search & Programmatic Expertise: Deep understanding of Search Ads 360 (SA360), Criteo, and major DSP architectures.
- Media Analytics & Data Engineering: Proficiency in Google Analytics 4 (GA4), data visualization tools (Looker, PowerBI, or Tableau), and the ability to interpret complex attribution models (MMM, MTA).
- Cookieless Readiness: Technical understanding of 1P data activation, privacy sandboxes, and the evolving digital identity landscape.
- The Hybrid Strategist: A profile that bridges the gap between high-level business goals and complex technical implementation.
- Technical Influencer: Strong ability to defend technical strategies before Senior Management (GMs, CDOs) and non-technical stakeholders.
- Innovation Catalyst: Proactive mindset, constantly seeking early access to Beta products and new retailer data capabilities.
- Integrator: A bridge-builder capable of co-creating technical workflows between Brands, Divisions, Data teams, and external Agencies.
