Job Summary
This role is responsible for the end-to-end planning & execution of Raw Material procurement for their specific catalog in the Florence plant. This role gives an exciting opportunity to work cross functionally within the plant while also managing an external supplier base. You will be responsible for your specific portfolio’s monthly procurement cycle (MSS) as well as ensuring that commitments are met & are delivered on-time & in-full. This role provides the unique opportunity to have a direct impact on production results in Florence and the exciting scope to partner with several cross-functional teams including Sourcing, Raw Material suppliers & the production units in the plant.

Key Job Accountabilities
- Coordinate and manage flow of raw materials from vendors to manufacturing operations or sub-contractors. Collaborate with Sourcing and Suppliers to support plant requirements.
- Routinely analyze state of raw material inventory and priorities. Proactively identify and escalate alerts to appropriate teams in a timely manner and resolve production plan risks.
- Manage raw material inventory stored at offsite locations. Rotate inventory and ensure sufficient stock is maintained at plant to prevent disruption of pre-weigh/production.
- Review and update supply planning parameters. Create and monitor reports to ensure appropriate progress of inventory levels and deliveries.
- Identify and take appropriate action on upcoming expired material. Initiate and follow-up on resolution of rejected or obsolete raw materials or bulk product.
- Responsible for mitigating short-term risks as seen in production which may include escalation, reprioritizing with flows, quick problem solving with supplier to ensure material is ready to meet needs.
- Lead monthly at-risk meetings and align with cross-functional supply chain & production teams on what risks exist & plans to mitigate.
- Manage relationships with raw material suppliers, monitoring their KPIs and proactively addressing concerns blocking successful execution.
- Assist in the identification and reconciliation of inventory and/or invoice discrepancies.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business/engineering or supply chain discipline preferred
- Experience:2-5years of previous experience,in a high-performance manufacturing facility or supply planning scope- cosmetics industry preferred.
- SAP experience preferred
- Advanced Excel strongly recommended (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs etc.)
- Must have strong written/verbal and communication and analytical skills; ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously; manage change, provide program management and achieve results.
- Proven ability to develop short and long-range plans that meet established objectives and contribute to the overall goals and mission of the company.
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to consolidate, present information and interface with plant and corporate personnel at various organizational levels.
