Your Mission as the Portfolio & Catalog Manager at our North Little Rock (NLR) Distribution Center, you are the navigator of our fulfillment flow. Sitting at the critical intersection of Supply, Demand, and Physical Distribution, you oversee the "Production Control Tower" to ensure our business catalog is optimized for maximum service.
You won't just manage a list of products; you will strategically steer the portfolio—balancing inventory on-hand against shipping forecasts to ensure our 36+ brands reach consumers with unrivaled speed and precision. You are the heartbeat of the DC’s responsiveness, ensuring the right products are in the right place at the right time.

You are the heartbeat of the DC’s responsiveness, ensuring the right products are in the right place at the right time.
Your Impact & Responsibilities
- Orchestrate the Business Portfolio & Master Catalog (50%)
- Catalog Optimization: Curate and optimize the active business catalog by analyzing inventory on-hand, customer demand, and 3-month shipping forecasts.
- Dynamic Steering: Lead daily and weekly adjustments to stay ahead of market fluctuations, ensuring 100% alignment between Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and the NLR DC weekly shipping execution.
- Input Synchronization: Trigger proactive action plans through daily inventory reviews to ensure seamless product flow into the DC from all sources (NLR Manufacturing, external factories, contractors, and offsite warehouses).
- Service Excellence: Balance operational efficiency within the DC with critical customer requirements, including Service Level, On-Shelf Availability (OSA), and On-Time In-Full (OTIF) metrics.
- Strategic Communication & Control Tower Escalation (30%)
- The Early Warning System: Act as the primary lead for the Production Control Tower, identifying and communicating risks to fulfillment or inventory health before they impact the customer.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Escalate critical bottlenecks and partner with DC operational teams to drive immediate, data-driven resolutions.
- Performance Analytics & Intelligence (10%)
- KPI Management: Monitor and analyze end-to-end fulfillment performance.
- Friction Analysis: Identify "factors of friction" in the supply chain, tracking SKU-level data trends to improve forecasting accuracy and distribution agility.
- Inventory Health & Optimization (10%)
- Classification Management: Ensure optimal stock health for A, B, and C class SKUs across both the NLR DC and external storage sites (Davis WH).
- Waste Mitigation: Proactively monitor inventory age to minimize Excess and Obsolete (E&O) levels and manage the authorization process for unhealthy inventory destruction.
- Experience: 5+ years of planning or portfolio management experience in a high-performance distribution or manufacturing environment. (Cosmetics or FMCG experience preferred).
- Analytical Mastery: You "speak the language of data." High proficiency in MS Excel is essential (advanced logic testing, data synthesis, and pivot tables).
- Strategic Leadership: A proven track record of managing complex portfolios and providing mentorship to develop the talent around you.
- Agility: The ability to remain composed and professional in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex data-driven action plans to senior management and external vendors.
