Key Job Accountabilities
- Design and execute instrumental and clinical tests: Independently plan, coordinate, and conduct skincare/makeup clinical and instrumental evaluations to support product claim substantiation and formula screening.
- Lead research initiatives: Spearhead knowledge studies and other innovative projects, collaborating effectively with internal and external partners to advance scientific understanding and drive product development.
- Develop and refine methodologies: Develop and optimize new protocols, methods, and expertise within the field of makeup evaluation to meet current requirements and anticipate future needs, fostering continuous improvement and innovation.
- Analyze and interpret results: Critically analyze test results, draw meaningful conclusions, and provide actionable recommendations to the lab team based on findings, driving data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure compliance and safety: Maintain strict adherence to all relevant safety regulations and quality procedures, including regulatory guidelines, ethical considerations, and standard operating procedures.
- Master’s degree or higher in Physics, Color, Optics, Biology, Physical chemistry or medical image engineering, or related field.
- Good understanding of statistical analysis, proficiency with relevant instrumentation and software, and experience with artificial intelligence techniques is a plus.
- Strong makeup and color sense.
- Good presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal. Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively drive projects forward. Highly motivated, innovative, and eager to learn.
- Hands-on experience in skincare or makeup instrumental/ clinical evaluation is a plus
