Key Job Accountabilities
- Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis
- Lead the financial forecasting processes (Budget, Trend, etc.) for brands, ensuring accuracy and strategic alignment.
- Analyze brand Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, identifying key performance drivers, risks, and opportunities to challenge and support business decisions.
- Develop financial models and scenarios to support strategic initiatives, product launches, and long-term brand growth.
- Go beyond mere reporting, demonstrating a deep curiosity to investigate "behind the numbers" and deliver profound, actionable insights to management.
- Business Partnership & Performance Management
- Act as a true financial partner to brand and marketing teams, translating complex financial data into clear business recommendations.
- Monitor and optimize brand investments (e.g., media & promotion spending), ensuring a strong return on investment (ROI).
- Provide financial guidance on pricing strategies, channel mix, and commercial conditions to maximize profitability.
- Reporting, Compliance & Process Improvement
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing and reporting in line with Group standards.
- Guarantee the application of L'Oréal's internal control principles and financial golden rules.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve financial processes, tools, and reporting efficiency in a hands-on manner.
- A highly agile and logical finance professional with a hands-on approach and a proven ability to thrive in a complex organization.
- 5+ years of experience in corporate finance, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), or business controlling. A background in the Mass Market or a similarly complex, fast-paced industry is highly preferred.
- Financial Acumen & Controlling: Deep expertise in P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and the ability to steer business performance.
- Critical Analytical Skills: The ability to dissect complex data, identify underlying trends, and formulate sharp, logical business insights.
- Business Partnership: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to build strong relationships, challenge stakeholders constructively, and translate financial insights into business language.
- Languages: Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Mandarin.
