About The Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and activating all trade marketing of hero franchises and new product launches, both online and offline for L’Oreal Couture brands in the NZ market. Our primary objective will be to grow the portfolio in terms of sales, visibility, customer awareness and market share. You will have a strong flair for visual merchandising, events, in store and digital tactics to improve market performance. This is a challenging position, suited to someone looking for the opportunity to work with luxurious brands and skillful in working with local and international stakeholders.

  • The role is based in the L’Oreal Auckland office and will be working closely, with the guidance of the Melbourne based marketing team to implement strategy and localize brand plans for the New Zealand market
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, working hand-in-hand with the commercial, retail field, digital, education, and PR team to maximise the promotional efforts
  • Own the brand guidelines to guarantee the brand identity, ensuring that all actions are in line with the sense of purpose while nourishing the brand
  • Present brand plans to retailers and field team with strong conviction to leverage exposure, quickly react to changing trends and use insights unlock growth
  • Brief Retail Animation Specialist on all POS, Visual Merchandising, Digital and Print Design
  • Brief Digital Intern on all online touch points relevant to the brand to ensure timely delivery and PDP excellence
  • Ensure in-store executional excellence in line with brand guidelines; planogram execution, visual merchandising, retail pop ups, holiday set up, gift with purchase promotion
  • Monitor sales performance across all channels and communicate insights with cross-functions
  • Analyse competitor pricing & activity in the market and share insights with Australia based product managers

About You

  • Tertiary qualified with at least 3-5 years relevant experience, ideally in the beauty or luxury goods industry
  • Excellent communicator to engage and deal with various internal and external stakeholders
  • You must be self-motivated & driven to be able to drive your own results and manage your time efficiently.
  • Strong influencing skills in both written and verbal communication
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects on time & to a high standard
  • Engaging presentation skills
