A Day in the Life
As a Sales Representative reporting directly to the National Field Manager within our Professional Products Division (PPD), you will motivate, manage, and develop our salon partner portfolio in Bucharest and surrounding areas. You will act as a strategic business consultant, translating brand and division strategies into concrete commercial growth for our salon network. By spending active time on the ground and fostering close collaboration with our Education and Marketing teams, you will ensure operational excellence, maximize brand visibility, and achieve ambitious sales targets.
- Salon Business Development & Market Share: Maximize In-Salon Market Share (ISMS) across all product categories (haircare, color, styling). Identify, prospect, and win new salon customers while ensuring that a maximum number of different product referrals are made in accordance with each salon's business potential.
- Commercial Performance & CRM Management: Achieve qualitative and quantitative sales targets set by the National Field Manager. Control the sell-in and sell-out of your assigned customers, analyzing sales panels and utilizing CRM tools to establish and execute customized growth action plans.
- Brand Activation, Merchandising & Events: Enforce strict compliance with merchandising standards to guarantee a premium brand image at the point of sale. Sell, coordinate, and execute high-impact commercial events within salons, engaging salon teams and monitoring event targets.
- Educational Partnership & Market Intelligence: Drive a strong educational partnership by recruiting salon professionals for business and technical training. Conduct regular competitive intelligence at points of sale and share field insights with office teams to optimize brand strategies.
We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate possesses strong business acumen, excellent communication capabilities, and a proactive, client-oriented mindset. They are a natural relationship-builder who thrives on identifying opportunities, solving problems, and taking real responsibility in a fast-paced environment.
- Education & Sales Experience: Completed or in-progress higher education (university studies). Proven experience in sales and the negotiation process, with experience in FMCG or Key Accounts (IKA) considered a strong advantage.
- Negotiation & Client Orientation: Strong capability in sales techniques and win-win negotiations. Ability to build trust-based partnerships with salon owners, conducting regular development interviews to track targets and identify training or consulting needs.
- Problem Solving & Agility: A fast thinker focused on identifying and solving problems on the ground, with a proactive approach to challenges and a positive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Interpersonal Communication & Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Education) and external salon professionals.
- Tools & Analytics: Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with proficiency in Power BI or data analysis tools considered a distinct advantage.
- Languages: Fluent in both Romanian and English (written and spoken) to navigate local client relationships and internal international communication.
- Driving License: Valid driving license (Category B) with a minimum of 2 years of active driving experience, as daily travel within Bucharest and surrounding areas is required.
