Job Title: Retail Design Specialist – Dr.G DMI

A DAY IN THE LIFE:

• Retail & Spatial Design Execution:

- Support the deployment and quality control of global space retail guidelines across international markets.

- Drive the end-to-end design development of Dr.G pop-up stores, event spaces, and temporary brand installations from concept to final installation.

- Design and develop new product VMD displays, in-store shelving, and fixture design, ensuring an engaging shopper journey across offline touchpoints.

• Offline Brand Assets & Material Development:

- Develop design directions for in-store graphics and other offline brand visuals.

- Oversee the design and production support for physical brand materials, including gift boxes, PR kits, and display objects using diverse materials.

• Project Management & Collaboration:

- Manage day-to-day project workflows, including timeline tracking, production specification planning, and vendor coordination under the guidance of the Team Manager.

- Partner closely with cross-functional teams (Content, Communication, Social, Creative, Product Innovation, Sales) to ensure design alignment with commercial and marketing objectives.

- Balance creative innovation with commercial reality, ensuring all designs are operationally feasible.

• Market Research & Technical Execution:

- Conduct continuous market research on beauty & customer experience trends to bring fresh ideas to spatial design.

- Accurately translate creative concepts into 3D renderings and technical drawings using design tools (SketchUp, CAD, Adobe Creative Suite).

WHO YOU ARE:

• Education: University graduate / Major in Industrial Design, Interior Design, or Visual Design preferred.

• Experience: 4 to 8 years of professional experience in retail design, spatial design, or VMD (experience in beauty, fashion, lifestyle, or FMCG preferred).

• Proven experience in flagship design, pop-up space design, and spatial experience content planning.

• Strong background in visual merchandising (VMD) for spatial presentations and in producing styling and display objects using diverse materials.

• Strong understanding of the skincare & beauty industry and retail environment.

• Proficiency in 3D/2D design tools (SketchUp, CAD) and Adobe Creative Suite.

• A balance of creative mindset and commercial/operational practicality.

• Flexible and effective communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with internal teams and external production vendors.

• Essential Korean proficiency; English language skills are a plus.
