A Day in the Life
You'll lead the communications strategy for our Operations Zone, reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer for the Zone, while partnering closely with the Zone Corporate Affairs & Engagement (CA&E) team. You will shape how we share the story of our massive integrated value chain—spanning factories and distribution centres—to build our reputation and engage our teams.
Your main priorities:
Executive Communications & Leadership Support
- Serve as the strategic communications advisor to the Chief Operations Officer (COO) for the zone, developing and executing executive communications strategies that enhance leadership visibility and impact.
- Prepare presentations, talking points, briefing materials, and regular communications updates for the COO and senior Operations leadership team, and for the Zone CA&E Team.
- Manage the COO's LinkedIn presence and thought leadership content, positioning them as a leader in operations excellence, sustainability, and innovation.
Employee Engagement & Internal Communications
- Plan, develop, and execute quarterly Town Halls and all-hands meetings for Operations employees across the zone, ensuring engaging content, and effective messaging.
- Lead employee engagement and celebration initiatives, including recognition programs, and events that strengthen team cohesion.
- Develop and implement internal communications plans to keep employees informed, engaged, and aligned with Operations strategy, priorities, and achievements.
- Create compelling content for internal channels (newsletters, intranet, digital signage, videos) that celebrate operational excellence, safety achievements, sustainability milestones, and employee stories.
Stakeholder Engagement & High-Level Visits
- Coordinate and support high-level executive visits to Operations sites across the zone, including visit planning, briefing materials, site tours, employee engagement sessions, and post-visit communications.
- Coordinate stakeholder communications and outreach for key Operations partners, including customers, suppliers, government officials, and community leaders.
- Develop and execute communication strategies for major operational milestones and transformation initiatives.
Reputation Building & Storytelling
- Partner with the broader CA&E team and L'Oréal Group brand teams to develop and execute reputation-building efforts that showcase Operations' role in L'Oréal's success.
- Generate proactive internal and external content that highlights operational innovation, sustainability leadership, digital transformation, manufacturing excellence, and employee expertise.
- Collaborate with media relations teams to position Operations leaders and subject matter experts for earned media opportunities, industry events, and thought leadership platforms.
- Develop case studies, videos, photography, and multimedia content that bring Operations stories to life for internal and external audiences.
Strategic Communications Planning & Execution
- Serve as the lead contact on all Operations-related communications matters, building and executing communications strategies that increase visibility of Operations' mission, achievements, and commitments.
- Develop, implement, and measure division-level communications plans, processes, protocols, and programs to enhance internal and external leadership impact.
- Work closely with CA&E team to protect the reputation of the Groupe and its Operations and proactively manage any issues and crises that may arise.
- Partner with subject matter experts on key initiatives including sustainability, Industry transformation, safety excellence, and community engagement programs.

- Written Messaging: Exceptional writing skills to craft compelling content for internal and external channels.
- Eventing: Strong capability in planning and delivering engaging large-scale employee events.
