What You Will Do:
The Manager of InterGroup Margin holds the financial reporting and analysis responsibility for the Product Margin of Urban Decay and Youth to the People (UD and YTTP) and accountable to drive the end-to-end Transfer Price and Launch profitability processes within Luxe Affaire Produit.
To ensure financial excellence and margin integrity, the Manager works with:
- Luxe WW Division DMI Finance and US Tax team on global standards and ensuring tax compliance
- UD and YTTP’s DMI Marketing, Brand Controller and General Management to drive brand-specific growth and profitability.
- Luxe Operations & Affaire Marché Finance Teams to optimize product and supply chain costs and alignment on local market execution.
Responsibilities include:
- Profitable Growth & Business Partnering [40%]
- Work with UD and YTTP’s Marketing to ensure new product launches are accretive to the Product Margin across all Zones. Act as the final financial gatekeeper for launch profitability.
- Support the UD and YTTP’s DMI Marketing Teams, leveraging financial data to drive optimal business decisions and ROI.
- Financial Planning & Operational Excellence of InterGroup Margin and Transfer Price [40%]:
- End-to-end management of Trend and Budget cycles for InterGroup Margin of UD and YTTP. This includes ensuring accuracy, and providing final projections to senior leadership.
- Proactively identify margin risks or opportunities related to inventory flow and logistics, and lead the development of mitigation strategies through monthly reconciliation and analysis
- Synthesize complex monthly performance data into high-level executive summaries, providing the analysis on key performance and variance drivers to senior leadership
- Perform Transfer Price update and coordinate with WW Division DMI Finance team to ensure full alignment on processes and timeline. Reflect properly any updates on key assumptions, physical and financial flows, launch pillars etc in transfer price calculation to each Zones and Countries.
- Enforce controls to ensure all inter-group billings are accurate, especially the master data for existing products, sets and non-salable items are up-to-date and compliant to meet fiscal profit objectives.. Any incorrect billings are resolved in a timely manner. (especially on Triangular flows)
- Implement process automation with AFPt and other and data integrity within the Margin function. Identify manual inefficiencies and lead the implementation of standardized and scalable workflows.
- Maintains rigorous internal controls and documentation for all inter-company transactions, serving as the lead point of contact for internal and external audit inquiries related to Luxe Division margins.
- Transformation & Systems Strategy [20%]
- NEO Implement and process improvement (2026): Implement and highlight areas of improvement
- Implement new intiatives: Lead special projects aimed at digitizing margin controls and improving reporting speed, ensuring the USA Brands remain at the forefront of financial technology within L’Oréal.
People Leadership & Talent Development
Direct Management: No direct reports.
Key KPIs for the role:
- Achieve accuracy in Finished Good and Non-Salable Transfer Prices invoiced to inter-group customers across all portfolio brands.
- Ensure future launches are accretive for the P&L
- Meet internal control and tax compliance requirement for margin and profitability processes
What We Are Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting or a related field. MBA preferred, but not required
- 5 - 8 years of experience in finance preferred
- Excellent at data management and understanding of systems including excel
- SAP or TM1/Cognos a plus
- Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills; business acumen; leadership skills; oral and written communication skills; and excellent interpersonal skills
