Beauty Advisor – L’Oréal Outlet Store

Mission

As a Beauty Advisor in our Outlet Store, you are the face of our brands and the primary link between our products and our consumers. Your mission is to provide an exceptional, personalized shopping experience, combining expert beauty advice with a deep understanding of our portfolios to drive retail excellence in a fast-paced environment. In the context of our outlets, you will play an essential role supporting our second life channels and making sure all our products find their way to our consumers.

Your Key Responsibilities

1. Consumer Experience & Sales Excellence

• Aspirational Service: Welcome every consumer with a high level of energy and professionalism, reflecting the L’Oréal brands.
• Expert Advice: Conduct personalized consultations (skincare, makeup, and fragrance) to identify consumer needs and offer tailored routines.
• Retail Performance: Meet and exceed individual and store KPIs (Sales turnover, Average Basket, Conversion Rate) through proactive up-selling and cross-selling.
• Brand Storytelling: Act as a true ambassador, sharing the history and unique selling points of our diverse brand portfolio.

2. Operational & Retail Management

• Merchandising Excellence: Ensure the store remains compliant with L’Oréal’s visual merchandising guidelines, maintaining impeccable shelf presentation and cleanliness.
• Stock Management: Assist in stock replenishment, cycle counts, and the handling of new shipments to ensure product availability in the high-volume outlet environment.
• Tester & Hygiene Standards: Maintain strict hygiene protocols for testers and tools, ensuring a safe and premium environment for our consumers.

• People-Oriented: You have excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with diverse consumers from all backgrounds.
• Agile & Adaptable: You can handle the unique pace of an outlet store, moving quickly between tasks while maintaining attention to detail.

Technical Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail (Luxury or Beauty background is highly preferred).
• Strong sales techniques and a history of achieving targets.
• Fluency in Dutch and a good command of English and German (given the international nature of outlet consumers).
• A qualification in makeup artistry or aesthetics is a significant plus.
