PURPOSE OF ROLE

The Property & Wholesale Manager will support in the effective and relevant execution of offline expansion,

refinement as well as brand building for Aesop. In this role, you will work collaboratively with Brand General

Manager, as well as commercial & finance teams to identity the offline opportunities for Aesop and drive

consistent brand value in the Taiwan market.

You will be responsible for leading, coordinating and executing property projects, as well as wholesale account

management and sales, which will require you to connect and engage with relevant landlords, business

partners, and external vendors. An active team-player as well as working independently will be important.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Brand

• Understand the Aesop strategy and brand values and ensure that all local marketing activity is consistent with that strategy

and those values.

Business Development - Property

• Identity offline opportunities and drive 3-5 year plan for Aesop offline expansion and refinement in the Taiwan market

• Actively negotiate and engage with landlords on new opportunities, relocations, as well as lease & commercial terms aligned

with Aesop interest and brand protection

• Familiar with Taiwan market trends and particularities in each city, hub, commercial districts, to best identify the right

locations for Aesop

• Build robust ROIC together with Retail & Finance teams for internal approval and discussion

• Conduct post-opening reviews and continue to improve productivities

Business Development - Wholesale

• Actively build, refine, and expand wholesale business for Aesop in Taiwan, seeking for like-minded partners and

collaborations aligned with Aesop brand

• Manage amenity partner requests and corporate sales requests, work collaboratively with local logistic and finance team.

• Sales forecast and planning for wholesale channel

• Manage orders and compile sales & strategy reports

KEY EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED

• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint

• Familiar with Taiwan retail market

• Fluent in English and Mandarin

• Strong experience in business development

• High sense of luxury, fashion and elevated lifestyle

• Good interpersonal skills

• Proactive, positive, resourceful and able to work independently but as a team player
