Digital Security & Resilience seeking a Senior Product Manager dedicated to enhancing Microsoft's cybersecurity landscape. In this role, you will collaborate with various internal teams to develop and implement comprehensive security standards and controls at the enterprise level, managing security practices across all infrastructure, services, applications, and endpoints. This role will be pivotal in leading the strategic direction and execution of our security programs. You will align team members, program leadership, and executives to ensure cohesive and efficient execution of security strategies. Your skills in product management are essential in navigating the complexities of digital security, ensuring robust, effective, and integrated solutions that strengthen Microsoft's commitment to advanced security and maintaining the trust of our customers and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate alignment and urgency across v-team members, program leadership, and executives.
  • Partner with engineering teams to understand and validate solutions, define objectives, key results (OKRS) and metrics, and track progress praising wins and raising risks, as appropriate.
  • Create and maintain a scorecard to ensure compliance is achieved in a timely manner and confirm all metrics are complete and accurate.
  • Drive organizational engagement to facilitate deeper compliance and get-to-green conversations.
  • Facilitate program reporting through various engagements, such as weekly connections and monthly and quarterly security briefings.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years experience working in cybersecurity, cloud security, or security architecture.
Other Qualifications

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

Microsoft Cloud Background Check. This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in one or more domains of security or engineering, such as identity management, network security, or incident management.
  • Competency in strategy development and cross-team collaboration
  • Ability to drive large scale projects with large virtual teams
  • Understanding of security risk management, including identifying, analyzing, and mitigating risks in a business context.
  • Ability to apply creativity, critical thinking and be solution-oriented in a dynamic working environment.
  • Comfort with challenging ideas and the ability to leverage influence without authority.

Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 - $218,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 - $238,600 per year.
