We are looking for technical leaders with strong hands on experience in building large scale distributed systems to process billions of M365 cloud user's data. As a part of M365 Cloud team, we are building platforms that can extract M365 user data to power intelligence experiences, schedule data processing jobs to enrich user data and signals in M365 cloud and provide REST API access to user data through M365 Graph. We expect strong architecture and design skills to improve data processing capabilities of M365 cloud.

Responsibilities

M365 provides highly distributed, massively scaled, highly reliable and compliant services for millions of users. We are actively looking for a leader to own components critical to workplace search which has direct impact on our topline and solve critical problems for customers in their productivity and knowledge management. We own integrations with several 3P data sources allowing customer content to participate in several key experiences like Search, Content discovery, Information protection and several other AI-ML backed experiences. This allows us to take goodness of Microsoft 365 platform to 3P data to stay on the forefront of Enterprise productivity. Different parts of the platform present different set of problems from high scale, distributed systems to components which work under resource constraints and need to be highly performant.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience in C# or C++ or Java.
• Experienced in developing and shipping features in large scale distributed systems
• Strong at Design, analytical and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on quality and engineering excellence.
• Able to understand unfamiliar code bases, debug server-side, multi-threaded, and highly scalable applications.
• Able to work/collaborate with teams across geos and functions
• Self-driven, Results oriented and be accountable for your work
