We, in the Substrate Intelligence Platform at Microsoft have a role to play as we are in thick of the Copilot evolution, contributing to the mission of highly reliable copilot experiences powered by M365. We disproportionately focus on building our platform to provide data (raw as well as transformed/curated data and signals) for experimenting with and validating the copilot experiences in the most secure, compliant and scalable manner. We are amidst an exciting journey of modernizing our stack to solve for our tenets (agility, security and compliance) at future scale.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software and be accountable for its quality.
• Define and estimate development of new components with understanding of service interdependencies and limitations.
• Possess knowledge and is curious to learn more about performance, scalability, enterprise system architecture, and engineering best practices.
• Creating prototypes and proof-of-concepts for iterative development.
• Work effectively with product development and other engineering teams.
• Actively mentor junior team members.
  
  

Qualifications

• Graduate in Computer Science or related Engineering discipline.
• 4+ years of software development experience with C#, C++ or Java
• Working in agile teams with strong customer focus
• Excellent problem solving, design, coding, and debugging skills.
• Experience working in large scale distributed systems, REST and object-oriented programming
• Self-driven, results oriented, ability to work collaboratively, solve problems with team, find win/win solutions and celebrate successes
